HOW TO PREPARE PERFECT RESUME


It is almost very confusing on how to prepare a good resume for an interview a resume is very essential part during the process of interview agreed it is not everything but it provides the detail information of the candidates to the employer which can save a lot of time of the employer to ask him or her in detail about his information and the rest depends on his calibre and way how he talk and present himself infornt of the employer or recruiter.

Always there is a confusion between resume, bio data and curriculam vaitee CV here I will clear these douts and confusion. All the above is not same resume, bio data and curriculum vaitee all these three is prepared by different class of candidates but many think that all these three are same and use for common purpose of giving detail information of the candidates to the employer.

The difference between all the above three is as follows :-

 

RESUME :

 

It is prepared in short it must not be in detail and needs to be in one or maximum two pages, it is meant for job interview and some important and basic details must be mention in it. It is mostly prepared by the freshers who do not have much job experience, it must mention all relevant information which is necessary to disclose to the company in which the candidate is seeking the job.

      NAME IN FULL

      RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS WHERE YOU ARE STAYING

      DATE OF BIRTH

      MOBILE NO – BETTER GIVE 2 WORKING NO.

      E mail id – MUST MENTION WITH YOUR NAME

      MARITAL STSTUS

 

2.   QUALIFICATION

      START FROM THE RECENT DEGREE YOU GOT

      IF PERCENTAGE IS NOT GOOD THEN DON’T WRITE

 

3.   ACHIEVEMENTS

      IF YOU HAVE ANY ACHIEVEMENT IN ACADEMIC.  SOCIAL OR TECHNICAL MENTION IT

      SUCH AS :

      YOU GOT ANY SCHOLARSHIP

      GOT SOME AWARD OR REWARD IN SCHOOL / COLLEGE

      SUCH AS BEST STUDENT / BEST VOLUNTEER / GS OF COLLEGE ETC

      ANY RECOGNITION FOR SOCIAL WORK FROM ANY AUTHORITIES

 

4.   HOBBIES

      MUST SPECIFY TRUE HOBBIES

      EMPLOYER MAY ASK QUESTION REGARDING YOUR HOBBIES

      DON’T SPECIFY UNWANTED HOBBIES

 

5.   SKILLS – TECHNICAL / LANGUAGE

      MENTION IF ANY OTHER SKILLS YOU HAVE SUCH AS :

      ANY COMPUTER DIPLOMA OR PROGRAME YOU HAVE DONE

      ANY OTHER SHORT TERM COURSES

      IF YOU KNOW ANY FOREIGN LANGUAGE

      ANY NATURAL OR TECHNICAL SKILL YOU HAVE

 

 

6.   Points to Remember :-

 

      RESUME MUST BE IN ONE OR MAX TWO PAGE ONLY

      HEADING FONT PREFERABLY 14 AND CONTENT 12

      AVOID SPEALLING MISTAKE

      WRITE ALL CORRECT INFORMATION

      COVERING LETTER OK

      PHOTO ON RESUME FINE

      IF WANT TO SEND ON MAIL THEN SEND I PDF FORM

      SIGN ON RESUME

 

 

BIO - DATA :

It is not basically made for job interview but it is use for marriage proposal. It is made to give the basic details of boy or girl for considering for a marriage proposal it incudes in it the basic information of boy and girl such as:

1.    Full name / Father / Mother

2.    Address

3.    Native place

4.    Date of birth

5.    Education qua;ification

6.    Any other quality

7.    Height / Complextion ( especially in girls profile )

 

 

CURRICULAM VAITEE ( CV ) :

It is made normally by professionals such as lawyers, engineers, scientist, doctors etc who are highly educated in their fields and who have lots of experience and achievments which they have to mention in their CV so it can go beyond 4 to 5 pages or more.

 

So we can now come to know the difference between Resume, Bio data and curriculum vaitee.
